Meet the “Gardener’s” Bundle!

For 21+ “gardeners” only!

The packaged bundle with its branding & logo!

Are you or someone you know a “gardening” enthusiast? Do you enjoy all things “greenery”? Is your sesh spot lacking in Queer artwork and literature to peruse while you partake?

Then I have the zine bundle for you!

I’ve been a cannabis connoisseur for pretty much my entire adulthood, and the responsible and balanced use of this plant has truly improved my quality of life. As a Queer human, someone with mental health struggles and trauma, a chronic-pain-haver, and a distance runner, cannabis is a major tool for my mental, emotional, and physical health. When I started making zines, I wanted to demystify big topics that are typically not discussed in the mainstream– and responsible cannabis use is one of them! I enjoy cannabis socially, medicinally, and recreationally, all in moderation and all with intention, and I’ve now made quite a few pieces of art and lit that explore the how and why I use this plant. The “Gardener’s” Bundle includes all my cannabis-themed content so far, and is a great way to dive into the topic of the Queer use of cannabis.

Cannabis is Queer– full-length zine

This 12-page, hand-collaged zine offers an introduction to cannabis specifically for the Queer consumer. The zine explores the historical Queer influences on cannabis legalization, the racism of our current national prohibition on cannabis, and ways that Queer humans can responsibly and moderately use this plant as a tool for wellness in their daily lives. I put this zine together in 2024 for a 420-themed event, and it’s been a best-seller ever since! It took me about a month to complete the zine, from sketching and sourcing collage materials to print and publishing, and it was worth all the hard work. I love the vibrant colors, the interesting little details, and the visual textures in this zine. And you can’t beat the lovely nug illustrations by QueerWitchTattoo– all based on real strains that I would recommend to Queer humans!

Stoner Memoirs Vol. 1- minizine

This 8-panel minizine is a sweet collection of human moments while young and stoned. Originally a very long list in my notes app, this minizine spills all the tea about some of the “whoa, dude…” moments I’ve had through the years. It also features repeatable flash tattoo designs by QueerWitchTattoo, which you can still get tattooed to this day!

I really loved making this zine and telling stories I wouldn’t normally be able to tell. There is so much stigma about cannabis use that we rarely discuss our seshes with folks outside the rotation! I think some of my funniest stories and best memories have come from using cannabis, and I’m happy to share them with you (and the world) in this zine. As you may have guessed from “Vol. 1,” I have MANY more to tell, so there will eventually be more in this series for you to enjoy!

All The Nugs- strain sticker bundle

I loved the nug illustrations by QueerWitchTattoo in my Cannabis is Queer zine so much that I made them into stickers! These stickers are bright, eye-catching, and made of high-quality vinyl that won’t easily tear or fade. I have these on my comically large water bottle and they haven’t deteriorated at all in a year of daily use. These stickers are an artful and subtle nod to your favorite flowers. I chose Space Mints, Mimosa, and Blue Dream as the strains to feature here for their wide nugs, complimentary colors, and bold designs. The packaging also makes them look fresh from the dispensary in an iconic little baggie. Folks tell me all the time they are buying these as a gift for the stoner in their life, and they make a great gift to yourself too!

Smoke Gay Weed- block print

Folks sometimes ask me what makes weed gay, and I tell them that like with all things consumption, it’s all about the intention behind it. Queer culture and cannabis culture are deeply intertwined, and many LGBTQ+ folks today are using the plant as an accessible medicine, a social outlet, or a wellness aid. If you’re gay and smoking weed, great news– the weed is gay! I also think this message is an important reminder of the social equity work that still must be done in the world of cannabis as it becomes more mainstream. Cannabis legalization, large companies forming monopolies, and wrongful convictions/incarcerations for cannabis use are issues that must be front-of-mind for all consumers, especially Queer ones. One of the main reasons we have access to medicinal cannabis is because of Queer people– HIV/AIDS patients who used cannabis as a medicine and their loved ones or advocates who broke laws to get them what they needed to be comfortable. We must learn from this Queer history and recognize that we must be willing to light (metaphorical!!) fires outside of our bowls and bongs in order to see the real changes that we want.

This one-of-a-kind block print is a hand-carved linocut design, printed on hand-cut Japanese mulberry paper with Speedball printing ink. Roughly 6x9” papers, but slight variations are present due to human factors. This print is exclusive to this bundle, so you can only get it here!

And that’s the bundle! I hope you consider adding this little piece of Queer culture to your dream rotation this spring. This bundle is the perfect compliment to your 4/20 celebrations– or any time you want to add a little Queer flair to your sesh.
