the (trans)cribe’s handmade multimedia works seek to connect us to ourselves, each other, and a possible liberated future. Fully embracing a DIY ethos and refusing to use AI in any part of their practice, the (trans)cribe takes a radical approach to making art and sharing their ideas.

Meet the debut poetry zine by the (trans)cribe!
Since The Leaving is a collection of poems and artworks on estrangement and what’s after. This debut poetry zine by the (trans)cribe explores the author’s experiences with a sudden, forced estrangement from their family in 2019 and how they have attempted to still live life fully in its wake.
The 40-page, full-color collection includes hand-collaged artwork, original block prints, essays, and 15 poems written over the course of six years.
